Quick definition · 2 min Builder & startup term
MVP
An MVP (minimum viable product) is the smallest version of your idea that is still useful enough to launch and learn from.
Think of it like
A food truck before a restaurant: just enough to serve real customers and find out if they want it.
Example
Instead of a full app, you launch a single working feature to see if anyone actually uses it.
Why it matters
Building too much before launching is the classic first-timer mistake. The MVP is the antidote.
